Futurework 2020

We are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2008 Futurework competition:

Jiacheng Xian has been chosen as the winner of the Middle School award for our Futurework competition.  The entry, AstroCarrier Operator Diplomats showed a lot of creativity and good identification of the skills that might be needed to do this job. Jaicheng attends Richard Garvey Intermediate School, Rosemead, CA, and teacher support was provided by Ms. Motzl.

Adam Hathor has been chosen as the winner of the High School award for our Futurework competition.  His entry, Space Archaeologist, described the role and responsbility of people who will (perhaps) be exploring ancient alien civilizations. Adam attends Ashe County High School in West Jefferson, NC and is supported by his teacher, Ms. Kastl.

The task of selecting winners from a thousand entries was quite challenging.  There were lots of creative ideas expressed by students from all over the country.

The two winners are receiving customized iPods, and we congratulate them for their excellent effort!
